For more than a year, the Joe Foss Institute has worked closely with Arizona State University (and specifically Chris LaMont and his team in the Technology Based Learning & Research Department) to develop four different age-appropriate video series for use by our Veteran Volunteers in classrooms. These videos, hosted by Air Force Academy graduate, former Air Force pilot and Super Bowl winner Chad Henning, are now complete. We will provide a sneak peek on our site and in our eNewsletter, The Beacon, in August.
More importantly, despite being only in the early stages of distribution, we are thrilled to announce that they have already won Telly Awards in three different categories: Charitable/Not-for-Profit; Education/Academic Use; and Children's Audience. The Telly Awards, established in 1978, honor commericials and video and film productions for excellence.
+ Teachers, request a presentation for your school today. + Veterans, learn more about volunteering with JFI.
